Sea Devils Duo called-up for German National team

The Hamburg Sea Devils can be happy. Kicker Eric Schlomm and tight end Levi Kruse have signed new contracts with the team. Both have also been nominated for the German national football team.

Under head coach Shuan Fatah, who has also become coach of the Sea Devils, Schlomm and Kruse will play two international matches in October. The national team will first play in Great Britain before taking on Sweden in Krefeld on October 26. Fatah emphasizes the importance of the nomination: “Eric and Levi have absolutely earned their nomination. They are leading players for us and are also among the best in Germany.”

Eric Schlomm is delighted to have the opportunity to represent his country: “Playing for Germany is a childhood dream come true. The games against Great Britain and Sweden are a big challenge for us, but the team is ready.” For John Levi Kruse, it is his first call-up to the national team: “Playing for your country is a great honor. We have a strong team and want to be at the forefront at the European Championships.”
