ELF Playoff Format
The European League of Football playoff system is designed to reward division champions while ensuring the most competitive teams reach the postseason. A total of six teams qualify for the playoffs based on their performance during the regular season.
Wildcard Round
The four division champions will be seeded 1 through 4, based on their overall record. The two best remaining teams (non-division champions) will qualify as wildcard teams and be seeded 5 and 6. In the wildcard round, the matchups will be:
- Seed 3 vs. Seed 6
- Seed 4 vs. Seed 5
The top two seeds (1 and 2) get a bye in the wildcard round and proceed directly to the semi-finals.
Semi-Final Round
The highest remaining seed will play against Seed 2. The lowest remaining seed will face Seed 1.
Championship Game
The winners of the semi-final matchups advance to the Championship Game. The higher seed will be designated as the home team in the final.

Strength of Schedule (SoS)
The composite record of all opponents in current season. All cumulated wins of teams, on the schedule, divided through the number of total games played by the teams on the schedule.
Example (Wroclaw Panthers 2024 Season): 70 cumulated Wins of all teams that Wroclaw played against and 74 cumulated Losses of all teams that Wroclaw played against is a SOS of 0.49.
SoS Formula:
SoS = # Wins(All Opp.) / (# Wins(All Opp.) + # Losses(All Opp.))
Example: 70 Wins / (70 Wins + 74 Losses) = 0.49
Strength of Victory (SoV)
The composite record of teams defeated in current season. All cumulated wins of teams, that have been defeated, divided through the number of total games played by the defeated teams.
Example (Wroclaw Panthers 2024 Season): 12 cumulated Wins of all teams Wroclaw defeated and 36 cumulated Losses of all teams Wroclaw defeated is a SOV of 0.25.
SoV Formula:
SoS = # Wins(Def. Opp.) / (# Wins(Def. Opp.) + # Losses(Def. Opp.))
Example: 12 Wins / (12 Wins + 36 Losses) = 0.25
Def. Opp. - Defeted Opponents
