What game mode is the league using?
The league is divided into four divisions: North, East, South and West. Every team plays 12 games. The franchises play their conference opponents twice plus interconference matchups. Top 6 teams reach the playoffs.
Is the league a relaunch of the NFL Europe?
No. We are building on the European idea to bring football in Europe to a new sporting and economic level. Every team is only allowed four US-Imports on the gameday roster.
Which rules does the ELF use?
The ELF plays according to NFL rules, adapted for European conditions (Kickoff Rule, Video review and Overtime Rule of the NCAA).
Where do all teams play?
16 teams from nine nations compete in the ELF across Germany, Austria, Spain, France, Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic, Denmark, and Switzerland.
What are the goals of the ELF?
