The Hamburg Sea Devils are pleased to announce the contract extension with kicker and team captain Eric Schlomm. The 32-year-old German national player will once again be on the field for the Sea Devils next season. Since joining the team, Schlomm has played a special role not only through his performances on the pitch, but also through his commitment to the team and the fans.

Schlomm himself is enthusiastic about the further collaboration:

 “I am very happy to play for the Sea Devils for another year and would like to thank the organization and head coach for the trust they have placed in me. We want to end the decline of the last two years and show exciting football in Hamburg again. You can feel this positive energy of a new start throughout the organization, and I want to contribute to it.”

Mark Weitz, general manager and managing director of the Hamburg Sea Devils, praises the contract extension:

The veteran kicker was one of the teams bright spots last year going 8 for 9 on field goals with a long of 51.
