Next UK-Player: Nordic Storm sign Max Parkinson

Nordic Storm continues to add a lot of talent to their roster. After already been able to sign big names and veterans, they now sign the only 23-year-old Defensive End Max Parkinson. Like most of the other signings, Parkinson also recently played for the current ELF Champion Rhein Fire.

Following the signings of Glen Toonga and Chad Walrond, Parkinson is also the third player from Great Britain to wear the Storm jersey next season. Parkinson will also face his former teammate Jadrian Clark.

Parkinson actually has a background in rugby. He played successfully for Esher Rugby for four years. The Briton also proved his strong athleticism in his showpiece discipline, the 100-meter sprint. In 2022, he started playing American football and quickly secured a scholarship for UWE Bristol. Parkinson was also invited to the Canadian Football League (CFL) Combine.

In addition to Rhein Fire, Parkinson played in Europe for the Dresden Monarchs. He made his debut in the ELF for the Fire in 2024. The D-lineman started eleven of twelve possible games and collected 16 tackles, including 4.5 for loss and two sacks. He recorded another sack in the playoffs.
