Wrocław Panthers announce eight extensions for 2023

The Panthers really get going after announcing their head coach. Dave Christensen continues to assemble his team.

After signing Solomon Brown and Artevius Smith, the Panthers are re-signing eight players who will be back on board in 2023. With Grzegorz Lary, Andrei Karmakskikh, Jakub Halicki and Szymon Romanowski they have re-signed four defensive backs. In addition, Aleksander Powar and Piotr Ostrowski for the defensive line, Sebastian Kojkoł for the offensive line and the home running back Dawid Brzozowski were extended, as well.

Young talented running back extended

In the process of last season, Brzozowski provided the Panthers' best rushin gperformance after the departure of running back Fileas Pasqualini with 580 yards in all 12 games and three touchdowns. The 21-year-old young Polish running back is considered one of the best talents in the country and is going to suit up for the Panthers again in 2023.

New head coach in place

The Panthers had to part with Goran Zec as well as Darius Robinson, but got direct replacements for the defense with Brown and Smith. With Dave Likins, they have extended the defensive coordinator and with Jakub Samel in the position of sports director, as former head coach in a new position, and new HC Dave Christensen, the Panthers could reach for the playoffs in 2023.
