"Artevius is a versatile player in the third line of defence. On his tape, you can see not only great plays against the passing game of rivals, but also heavy hits against the running game. His winning nature and work ethic will fit in perfectly with our team", sports director Jakub Samel expressed.

In his final year of college, the hard-hitting athlete collected three All-American honors and tallied 89 tackles, 62 of which were solo, along with five interceptions and two fumbles. Smith went on to play for Omaha Beef in the CIF Indoor Football League. Smith follows Solomon Brown, who was perviously signed at outside linebacker by the "Pack" on Saturday.
