Wrocław Panthers introduce new head coach Dave Christensen

The Wrocław Panthers bring in former college coach Dave Christensen as head coach for 2023. The 61-year-old U.S. native previously held various positions for the Washington Huskies, Toledo Rockets, Missouri Tigers, Wyoming Cowboys, Utah Utes, Texas A&M and Arizona State in college football. At Wyoming, he coached his team to a 27-35 record over five years as head coach. Christensen was primarily involved with the offense and is now expected to give the Panthers new momentum for the upcoming season.

Pass oriented scheme for 2023 = more success?
As a coach, he is known for his pass-oriented no-huddle spread offense and is expected to maintain such strong passing offense for the Panthers. In both 2021 and 2022 under previous head coach Jakub Samel, the spread offense was the preferred scheme. The Panthers had problems last season, especially with injuries. If they manage to keep the squad healthy, it could be an exciting season for the Panthers. Jakub Samel, who will be the sports director in the future, is working hard in the background for the upcoming season.
