Playoffs: These decisions will be made today

Saturday, the last day of the regular season, has already brought some playoff decisions: The Vienna Vikings secured the top seed with their 35-29 overtime victory against Paris. They have off next weekend and a home game in the Semifinals. The Musketeers, on the other hand, missed the playoffs.

The Munich Ravens are now confirmed as the second-best team in the regular season thanks to their 49-26 victory over Wroclaw, which also means they will have home field advantage in the Semifinals. Stuttgart will have a home game in the Wildcard Round and is currently waiting for its opponent.

Rhein Fire against Nordic Storm in Wildcard Round

Saturday's results mean that reigning champion Rhein Fire has already secured a place in the playoffs. Sunday's game against Nordic Storm (16:25 CET) will only decide whether they enter the playoffs in fifth or sixth place. In either case, they will play Nordic Storm in the playoffs. This matchup will therefore take place on both Game Day 14 and in the Wildcard Round.

Particularly exciting on Sunday: the winner of the Madrid Bravos vs. Frankfurt Galaxy game (13:00 CET) will make the playoffs at the last minute, while the loser is out. The winner will play against Stuttgart Surge in the Wildcard Round.
