Lions sign Offensive Linemen Jasper Friis
The fans of the Prague Lions can look forward to the next new addition. Jasper Friis, an ELF champion, signs a two-year deal with the team.
Last season, the offensive guard played for Rhein Fire. Although the 25-year-old primarily took on a backup role there, he was still part of the strongest running offense last season.
“I am deeply grateful to Coach Warner and the Prague Lions Front Office for believing in me and trusting me to contribute to the team’s growth and culture”, says Friis. He adds: “I’m thrilled about this opportunity to showcase my talents and am fully committed to being a relentless force in the pursuit of victories. Go Lions!”
Friis began his football carrer with the Starnberg Argonauts in Germany before moving to the NCAA for the University of California, Berkeley, and Jackson State University.
In addition to Friis, the Lions have already signed cornerback Ja'Len Embry. The contract with Jan Krs has also been extended.
