Prague Lions re-sign DB Jan Krs
The Prague Lions have brought back homegrown defensive back Jan Krs. Krs will be one of many returners from the 2024 season hoping that the Lions can make a step forward under new head coach Dave Warner in 2025.
The 27-year old safety has been a mainstay on the Prague Lions roster since they joined the ELF in 2023. In two seasons with the Lions Krys has racked up 146 tackles, 3 tackles for a loss, 7 pass break ups, and one interception in only 17 games.
Prior to joining the Prague Lions in 2023, the homegrown defensive back played for the Prague Black Panthers in the Austrian Football League. Off the field, Krs works as a brand manager of Sport for TV Novabafter spending several years as marketing executive at Under Armour.
"I'm thrilled to be playing in the top european league again, right here in Prague, and I'll do everything to represent not only the Lions but also all of American Football in the Czech Republic in the best possible way! I can't wait to get on the field! Let's go!
Krs will team up with American import Ja'len Embry in the secondary as the Lions hope to make some noise in the 2025 ELF season.
