Week 13: Sunday's Top-Performer - Glen Toonga

Well, he did it again. As usual, Glen Toonga showed out, leaving his last regular season game this year in style. The Rhein Fire running back put in another fabulous performance in his franchise's clear win over the Berlin Thunder.

Toonga converted 28 carries into 144 rushing yards and 4 touchdowns. He now has a total of 30, yes you read that right, 30 (!) touchdowns. 

In the game against Berlin Thunder, he once again showed his hard-to-stop mix of speed, balance and agility. Time and again, he made his way through the defense.

He also showed his talents in the passing game, catching one pass for 23 yards. As the game clock was running down, "MVP" chants were raining down on Toonga from the stands. The running back is one of the most important assets for Rhein Fire, as they look ahead at the postseason. 

They will be on bye week on the last regular season weekend, as they have already played all twelve games. So the team and Toonga can rest and get ready for action in the playoffs.
