"We are on a path" - Enthroners Bodnar's view on the 2024 season
A season in the ELF creates memories. For the fans, managers, coaches and, above all, the players. Benedek Bodnár knows that too. The linebacker plays for the Fehérvár Enthroners.
If you ask the Homegrown about his favorite moment of the past season, he doesn't name a single one, but the big picture. "We had a bunch of ups and downs this season," says Bodnár. "But as a franchise that's still building the foundations to be able to compete againts every other team in the ELF, we have to appreciate the small things." It really hasn't been an easy season for the team from Hungary.
The 23-year-old is still satisfied: "Like the Enthroner's first winning streak in the ELF, some explosive plays on offense, big turnovers on defense, seeing the team's infrastructure and the homegrowns evolve. These things ensure us that we are on a path to create a culture that wins games and have long-term goals in the ELF."
The Enthroners will try to take the next steps during the offseason. In the process, they will rely on new ideas. After all, they parted ways with head coach Joe Ashfield.
