Looking back at the 2024 Fehérvár Enthroners

In their second year since joining the ELF, the Hungarian franchise finished the season with a 2-10 record. It was a tough season for the Hungarian squad as they began the year with tough losses to the Vienna Vikings, Cologne Centurions, Wroclaw Panthers, and Berlin Thunder.

Two huge wins back-to-back

However in Week 8 and 9 the Enthroners put together two huge wins blowing out the Prague Lions in the Czech capital and then defeating the Milano Seamen in front of their home fans.

A offense that showed flashes

Offensively the team has several key pieces to build around for 2025, starting with homegrown receiver Nándor Tóth who finished the season with an impressive stat line of 81 catches for 616 yards and three touchdowns.

On the offensive line, veteran guard Botdond Krizsai also looks to be a centerpiece of their offense for 2025. Quarterback Jack Mangel and receiver Nathaiel Robitaille were a dynamic duo as Robitaille finished the season with 953 yards and nine scores. However, overall they struggled to score as the Enthroners finished the season ranked third worst in the league in points.

Defense struggled against the league’s top players

Defensively, the Enthroners were ranked 13th overall in the league in points allowed as they weren’t able to stop top Eastern Conference teams such as the Vikings, Panthers, and Thunder from running up the score.

Some bright spots on the defense were Roedion Henrique who finished with four interceptions, and defensive end Jabrai Regan who was fourth in the league with 8.5 sacks. Linebacker János Zilai led the team with 100 tackles on the season.
