The Tirol Raiders will retain one of their captains, Ruben Seeber. The 25-year-old has signed a new contract for the upcoming season.

"Ruben’s toughness and winning attitude shows up every day", says Raiders General Manager Ulz Däuber. He adds: “He demands excellence from everyone and depicts a tremendous work ethic.”

Seeber is also looking forward to continuing to be part of the Raiders: “Very excited to go into the 2025 season and give it all we got! Let's make some noise!”

Longtime Raider

Seeber knows the team well. He was already a Raider before the team from Tyrol joined the ELF in 2022. In his three years in the league, he made 160 tackles in 36 games, including 14.5 for loss. He also had 0.5 sacks, two interceptions and three forced fumbles. Including a very important one in the upset win over Stuttgart Surge in the 2024 season.

Seeber is the second captain to extend his contract this offseason. Wide receiver Adrian Platzgummer is also staying for another season.
