Raiders veteran Adrian Platzgummer stays for another season

Adrian Platzgummer stays a Raider! The Tirol Raiders wide receiver signed a new contract for the upcoming season. The 29-year-old is an integral part of the team, which he leads as one of the captains.

"After last season, we know how close we are to the top of Europe and how much potential we have. To reach the required standard, we all have to give a little more than last year. I will give more and be better than last year in all respects and see it as my job to ensure that we go into the new season as a team like this," Platzgummer explains the extension.

Raiders General Manager Ulz Däuber adds: “Tremendous leadership, unpaired work ethic and consistency is what Adrian has been brining to this program for decades. He is a cornerstone of our success.”

Platzgummer has been a part of the Raiders since 2001. That haven't changed, when the team joined the ELF in 2022. Since then, he has caught 85 passes for 1033 yards and seven touchdowns.
