With a convincing 27-13 semifinal win over the Munich Ravens, Stuttgart Surge not only booked their spot in the 2025 Championship Game, but will also play it in front of their home crowd at MHP-Arena on September 7th, 15:00 CET. For head coach Jordan Neuman, the victory marks a major milestone on the road to his ultimate goal.

"I am very proud of my team," Neuman said after the game. "We controlled the game today and managed to contain Munich's offense, especially their quarterback. Now it's time to fulfill our dream of winning the final in front of our home crowd and lifting the trophy."

Surge's Defense sets the tone

From the start, Surge’s defense dictated the pace and shut down Munich’s attack. Quick tackles, disciplined coverage, and important sacks repeatedly forced the Ravens off the field. On offense, quarterback Reilly Hennessey led with another great performance, scoring twice on the ground and connecting with his receivers on key plays.

By reaching the final, Surge now has the chance to make history at home. About 500 traveling fans had already turned the semifinal in Unterhaching into a near home game, but in Stuttgart, the support will be on another level.

"Now it’s about preparing everything for the final," Neuman said. "We know how much work lies ahead, but that’s exactly why we’re here."

Countdown to the Champion Game

On Sunday, September 7th, Stuttgart will host the Championship Game. That’s when Surge can finally bring their motto — "Bring it home" — to life, just seven kilometers from the team facility to the stadium. Fans will be ready — thanks in part to a fantastic fan experience with a varied program.
