Including positional trick - Lions re-sign great talent Matyáš Bílý
The Prague Lions have extended their contract with Matyáš Bílý. The 19-year-old Czech is considered one of the greatest football talents in his country.
"Grateful to coach Warner and his staff for this opportunity. It's an honor to be part of the Prague Lions family, and I can't wait to see what this next chapter of my career brings”, says Bílý.
Shortly before the end of the previous deadline day, the quarterback moved to the Lions last season. He has not played a game in the ELF so far. Instead, he learned under his QB colleagues Anthony Perkins Jr. and Karé Lyles.
With US import Javarian Smith, the Lions have already signed their QB1 for the upcoming season this offseason. In order to give Bílý important playing time for his development, the Czech team is relying on a trick.
In the upcoming season, Bílý will make his ELF debut as a wide receiver. A position he has already held in his career and for which his strong athleticism qualifies him. He already proved this as a dual-threat quarterback.
