Frankfurt Galaxy strengthen their defensive line. Defensive tackle Jahn Jesus Lara Perez will wear the purple jersey next season. The 25-year-old is already facing his fourth season in the European League of Football.

Lara Perez made his debut for the Cologne Centurions in 2022, where he also played the 2023 season. In 2024, he moved to Rhein Fire, with whom he was crowned ELF Champion in the Veltins Arena in Gelsenkirchen last season. 

During his three years in the league, the German-Cuban played 32 games in which he collected 41 tackles, including four for loss and three sacks. He also had an interception, which he even returned for a touchdown.

Potential that Galaxy also recognize: “We see enormous potential in him and firmly believe that he will develop into a top DL in the league with us,” says sporting director Thomas Kösling.

It is already the second Galaxy deal for the D-Line. Previously, they also signed defensive end Martin Pinter.
