Galaxy sign Homegrown Duo from the Centurions

Center Kevin Kreider and defensive end Martin Pinter were already 2024 temmates. A fact, that will continue. What is changing, however, is the team. The two Homegrowns are leaving the Cologne Centurions and will join Frankfurt Galaxy.

The 22-year-old Kreider has so far only played for teams from Cologne. He started out with the Cologne Falcons. From 2020 to 2022, he then played for the Cologne Crocodiles, with whom he even became Junior Bowl Champion in 2021. In 2023, he moved to the ELF to play for the Cologne Centurions. Here he took on an important role as a center. Kreider started 21 of his 22 games for the Centurions.

"I’m looking forward to the new experience and especially to the home games in Purple Hell", Kreider says. He adds: "I am convinced that we can provide the best O-line in the league and thus make our contribution to the reload of the Frankfurt Galaxy.”

Now he moves to Galaxy, where he will meet Pinter again. In addition to the Centurions, the two have already played together for the Cologne Crocodiles as well.

All-Star and Champion for the Galaxy

Pinter is coming off a strong season, which even earned him a nomination for the All-Star Second Team. He previously played two years for Rhein Fire, with whom he became ELF Champion in 2023. In three years in the league, Pinter played 27 games and recorded 114 tackles, including 23 for loss, 13 sacks and five forced fumbles.

“Excited to Continue my football journey in Frankfurt. Time to bring the team back to the top. Plus, I always wanted to be a member of the Guardians of the Galaxy”, he says Martin

While Kreider joins a number of signings for the offense, Pinter is the first new player for the Galaxy defense.
