Fehérvár Enthroners part ways with head coach Joe Ashfield

New ideas for the Fehérvár Enthroners. The Hungarian team is parting ways with head coch Joe Ashfield.

The US-American originally joined Jaime Hill's coaching staff as offensive coordinator and quarterback coach in 2023. After the Enthroners' first ELF season, he then took over as head coach.

But he was unable to significantly improve the 3-9 season of his predecessor. Under Ashfield, the Enthroners finished last season with a 2-10 record - not good enough for the management, who now want to bring new ideas to the team.

In his home country, Ashfield coached for Black Hills State, Rice University and Stanford University. At Rice University, he ran the offensive line. In 2004, he was head coach of the New Zealand national team.
