Enthroners sign new Special Teams Coordinator

The Fehérvár Enthroners are making further changes to their coaching staff. After Mark Ridgley was presented as the new head coach, a new special teams coordinator is now moving to Hungary. Raúl Saavedra will also become the new assistant head coach.

"Joining Enthroners is a great opportunity to grow as a coach and individual. I'm incredibly excited to start working with the coaches and players to build the team we want to become," Saavedra explains. He continues: "I want to thank Mark and the entire franchise for trusting me with this important role and giving me this opportunity. Our goal is to stay focused on hard work and continuous growth-both on and off the field-so that victories will follow naturally. I am 100% confident that there is enough talent in Hungary for us to build a team capable of competing in the ELF and elevating Hungarian football to a higher level in Europe."

So far, Saavedra has only been active as a coach in his domestic country of Spain. Here he coached the Danube Dragons and Camioneros de Coslada. Most recently, he worked as linebacker coach for the Madrid Bravos. The 35-year-old is therefore already familiar with the European League of Football.
