Mark Ridgley named new Enthroners Head Coach
Mark Ridgley named new head coach of the Fehérvár Enthroners. The US-American has already coached in the NFL and most recently with the Madrid Bravos.
"I first give thanks to the lord for this once in a lifetime oppoirtunity", says Ridgley. He contunies: "My family and I are extremely excited for this upcoming season. I cannot thank the Enthroners organization enough, for entrusting me with the beginning of this new chapter."
He wants to start building a “championship foundation and culture” with his new team. “That will provide the team with the necessary tools to have successes both on and off the field for years to come,” explains Ridgley.
Ridgley began his coaching career at the University of Pittsburgh. From 2004 to 2009, he was a defensive assistant coach. Among other things, he coached the defensive backs and the defensive line.
He then moved to Central Michigan University for two years. Here he worked as a defensive line coach and later also as a defensive back coach. In 2012, he moved to the NFL. In his eight years with the San Diego, later Los Angeles Charger, he worked primarily as an offensive assistant coach.
Ahead of the 2024 season, he then moved to Europe and the ELF. Ridgley worked as special teams coordinator for the Madrid Bravos. Now his first job as Head Coach is waiting.
