Wroclaw: Numerous roster changes for playoff push

Wroclaw Panthers replace Steven Duncan with John Uribe

The Wroclaw Panthers have switched quarterbacks, with John Uribe taking over. Uribe, who led the team to victory in the last game of the 2022 season, brings experience from playing for the Traun Steelsharks in Austria. In his debut for the Panthers, he threw for 232 yards and three touchdowns. Uribe aims to lead the Panthers to success in the European League of Football after previous stints in Serbia and Hamburg.

Wide Receiver change for Wroclaw Panthers

There's also a swap at the wide receiver position. Matt Cole returns to the team from the Injured Reserve, while Daniel Bender, dealing with an injury, moves to the Injured Reserved list. Cole, a former NFL receiver with experience from multiple teams in the top American football league, joins the Panthers. Together with new quarterback John Uribe, Cole aims to turn the Panthers' season into a successful one.

Defensive Backfield shuffle for Wroclaw Panthers

There's also been a change in the defensive backfield for the Wroclaw Panthers. Martin Marcacci has been released, while William James has been activated.

Can these changes help the Panthers forget their unlucky start and make it to the playoffs? The next exciting game against the Frankfurt Galaxy awaits this weekend. It remains to be seen how the new players will perform for the franchise.
