Week 10 in the ELF is all about divisional clashes. All 16 teams are in action, and each division competing among itself.

In the battle for playoff spots in the West Division, the Paris Musketeers and Stuttgart Surge have been locked in a tough fight for several weeks. This past weekend, momentum shifted in Stuttgart’s favor as they secured an important win against Frankfurt Galaxy, who were led by new quarterback Jameson Wang. Although Wang delivered a strong performance right away, Frankfurt’s fifth loss of the season has made a playoff nearly out of reach. Paris, meanwhile, was defeated by the East Division leaders, the Vienna Vikings.

As a result, the standings in the West Division now look like this: Stuttgart Surge (6-2) holds a 96.7% probability of reaching the playoffs. Paris (5-3) follows with 42.2%, while Frankfurt Galaxy (3-5) stands at 0.3%. The Cologne Centurions (0-8) have been eliminated from playoff contention.

Stuttgart and Paris face off in crucial divisional matchup

This Sunday, Stuttgart Surge will host their main divisional rival, the Paris Musketeers, in one of the week’s top matchups. While the playoff race remains open, this game is likely to have a major impact on how the division shapes up in the final weeks. A win for Paris would significantly tighten the battle for the top spot in the division and they can be optimistic. They already beat Stuttgart this season. In week 2, the Musketeers won 6-0. Stuttgart, on the other hand, will aim to take a major step toward securing first place. Their upcoming opponents – the Hamburg Sea Devils, the Cologne Centurions, and the Fehérvár Enthroners – are currently ranked lower in the standings. Since all four division winners automatically qualify for the playoffs, this game carries particular weight for both teams. Kickoff in Stuttgart is scheduled for 16:25 CET on Sunday.

Frankfurt Galaxy look to bounce back against Cologne

One day earlier, on Saturday, Frankfurt Galaxy and the Cologne Centurions will face each other. Frankfurt has suffered four straight losses recently and now aims to prove that they are normally playoff contenders as well.
