Week 14 MVP Race

After Week 14 of the ELF, the MVP race comes to an end.

Frontrunners:

Do I really have to say anything about putting Clark at the top? The Rhein Fire QB played the best season a QB ever had in the ELF, throwing for a record 3585 yards and 53 touchdowns with only seven interceptions. Add in a completion percentage of 65.65% and a passer rating of 129.67 on the season and you got yourself a historic performance that most likely won’t be replicated anytime soon.

Speaking of records, Markell Castle played a season for the history books as well. The Munich Ravens’ wide receiver not only won the triple-crown but also set a new record for single-season receiving yards (1580) and tied Kyle Sweet’s record of 17 reciving touchdowns in a season. If Clark wins the MVP, Castle is definitely the favorite for OPOY.

After talking about the QB season and arguably the best WR season ever, it is time to talk about the most dangerous returner in European League of Football history. Devan Burrell has put the league on notice, returning punts and kickoffs for a total of 1820 yards and an unbelievable seven touchdowns, shattering Justin Rogers’ record of four total return TDs.

In the hunt:

Maceo Beard has been a pleasant surprise to say the least. The former Berlin Thunder showed Europe what he is capable of, setting a new record with eight interceptions on the season and turning the Guards’ secondary into one of the best in the league.

Chad Jeffries is probably the most underappreciated player in this league. If it wasn’t for Clark’s record-breaking season, Jeffries might just be the frontrunner for MVP in many people’s eyes. The Munich Ravens’ QB had the highest completion percentage ever with 69.85% and boasts a 115.78 passer rating. With the second-most passing yards ever, 30 touchdowns and only five interceptions, Jeffries played one of the best QB seasons in league history and deserves more recognition.
