Week 11 MVP Race

Week 11 of the European League of Football caused a shake-up in the hunt for the MVP award.
Frontrunners:
Jadrian Clark is staying on top of the MVP race for another week. After throwing for three touchdowns against the Sea Devils, the Rhein Fire signal caller set a new single-season record with 38 passing TDs. Clark is leading the league in passing yards and touchdowns, while averaging a passer rating of 127.79. In other words, the award is his to lose by now.
Due to the competition not overperforming, Markell Castle is staying at the #2 spot on this list. The Ravens pass catcher is leading the league with 67 receptions and 1114 receiving yards while also having 12 touchdowns. Castle still has a realistic shot of breaking Kyle Sweet’s receiving yards record and could go down as one of the most dangerous receivers in league history.
Tony Tate had the chance to improve his position this week but was not able to. Nonetheless, Turbo Tate has 896 receiving yards and 18 total touchdowns to his names, of which 16 were touchdown catches leaving him just one touchdown shy of the single-season record. With two games to go, Tate has plenty of chances to play a memorable season.
In the hunt:
Maceo Beard is playing a season for the record books. The French cornerback has picked off eight passes in 10 games so far, breaking the old record of six in a single season. Beard has proven to be a homerun signing for the Helvetic Guards, not only for his eight interceptions, but also for his two pick-6’s and eight pass breakups. If Beard can keep up his production over the last two games, he is poised to be among the frontrunners for the Defensive Player of the Year award.
Another hot name for the DPOY is Luke Glenna. The American safety has been overlooked by most people, but he is the Barcelona Dragons’ most important defensive player by a mile. Glenna is tied for second-most tackles in the league (96) and also has three interceptions, seven pass break-ups and three blocked kicks to his name.
