Week 11 brings clarity to the playoff race

Week 11 is over and it brought exciting games and decisive victories. With only 3 weeks left until the playoffs, the playoff picture is becoming clearer.

Seven franchises are definitely out of the playoffs. It’s already known that the Prague Lions, Helvetic Guards, Barcelona Dragons, and Fehérvár Enthroners are out of the playoff race, but what about the other franchises?

Playoffs out of reach

After recent losses, the Hamburg Sea Devils, Milano Seamen, Frankfurt Galaxy and Berlin Thunder are now confirmed to be out of the playoffs this year. The Sea Devils have two wins, and with only three games remaining, they cannot catch up to the Raiders Tirol, who hold the last playoff spot with six wins.

The playoff dreams are also over for the Frankfurt Galaxy and Milano Seamen. Despite having three wins and the possibility of three more, the direct matchup between the Munich Ravens and the Raiders Tirol makes it impossible for them to reach the playoffs. Both the Ravens and the Raiders have six wins, and since one of them will get a seventh win in their direct matchup, the Seamen and Galaxy cannot catch up.

But even a team with four wins is out. The Berlin Thunder are also out of the playoff race after Week 11. The franchise has four wins but only two games left, which means they can only reach six wins. This eliminates them from the playoffs for the same reason as the Seamen and Galaxy.
