Vikings march closer to East Division title
Felix Pahl

The Vienna Vikings took another big step toward the East Division title with a dominant 38-12 win over the Wrocław Panthers. With the victory, the Vikings move to 8-1 and are very close to clinching their spot in the playoffs. For the Panthers, the loss makes their playoff hopes more difficult, especially with a tough schedule ahead.
Vienna Vikings (8-1) at Wrocław Panthers (5-4): 38-12
Right from the beginning, the Vikings showed they wanted to control the game. They had two long drives with over 10 minutes of total ball possession - one ending in a touchdown. That set the tone and made it clear it would be a long day for the Panthers.
Wrocław had a hard time moving the ball. They had to punt several times, turned the ball over on downs, and even lost fumbles. That gave the Vikings strong field position again and again - and they took advantage by putting points on the board.
Strong performances from Pajarinen and Nuikka
Vikings running back Karri Pajarinen stood out once again. After returning from injury, he’s been playing great football. He already impressed in Week 9 against Paris - and now he did it again in Week 10. Pajarinen had 16 carries for 147 yards and one touchdown. His speed and power helped the Vikings control the game on the ground.
On defense, Timi Nuikka, also from Finland, had a great game. He made 5 tackles, 1 sack, and 3 tackles for loss, showing his strength and importance for the Vikings defense.

Panthers fight, but fall short
Panthers quarterback DJ Irons Jr. and wide receiver Darrell Stewart Jr. connected for some big plays. Stewart had 10 catches for 87 yards and two touchdowns, but it wasn’t enough to stop the Vikings.
What’s next?
The Vikings can win the East Division in Week 11 if they beat the Fehérvár Enthroners. That would be their first big goal of the season achieved.
The Panthers now fall to 5-4 and will travel to play the Munich Ravens in Week 11. It’s a must-win game for Wrocław if they want to keep their playoff hopes alive.
