Vikings and Surge secure comfortable wins

Prague Lions (0-9) at Vienna Vikings (10-0) 23-62

The Vienna Vikings remain undefeated after ten games this season. The Prague Lions managed to keep up somewhat until halftime, but the score of 16-35 already indicated a significant lead for the Vikings. Adam Zouzelka's running game was a highlight for the Lions. With just eight carries, he rushed for 109 yards and two touchdowns. However, the second half showcased the Vikings' true strength. Quarterback Ben Holmes threw impressive seven touchdowns throughout the game, with only one interception. Rookie Noah Toure's big plays were exciting. Two fumbles by the Lions contributed to the lopsided score, as did their limited possession time. The Lions had the ball for about 10 minutes less than the Vikings, who used their possession time efficiently.

In Week 11, the Prague Lions will host the Munich Ravens and will continue to seek their first win of the season. Meanwhile, the Vienna Vikings will visit the Helvetic Guards.

Stuttgart Surge (8-0) at Barcelona Dragons (2-7) 71-7

The Stuttgart Surge also remain undefeated after Week 10, defeating the Barcelona Dragons with a clear 71-7 victory. The newly formed Dragons team managed to keep up in the first quarter, allowing only 6 points. However, they couldn't keep pace with the unbeaten Surge. By halftime, the score was 33-7 in favor of the Surge, effectively deciding the game. Yet, the Surge didn't stop scoring. Despite gaining only 306 total yards, just 14 yards more than the Dragons, turnovers and weak special teams play from the Dragons proved decisive. These issues gave the Surge excellent field positions, making their touchdown drives easier. Even the Surge backups, who played from the third quarter onwards, performed strongly and extended the lead further.

In Week 11, the Surge will travel to face the Milano Seamen, aiming to continue their unbeaten streak. The Dragons have their second bye week, which they will use to better integrate their new players into the system.
