Vienna Vikings re-sign Finnish OL Tony Koskinen
The Vienna Vikings have re-signed experienced offensive lineman Tony Koskinen. The ELF veteran returns to Vienna for his second season as he and many of the Vikings from last season look to make another run at the title this summer. Vikings head coach Chris Calaycay on bringing back the talented Finn.
"Tony joins our offensive line for his second season with the Vikings and his overall 3rd in the European League of Football, having layed fort he Raiders in 2022. The OL unit has been one of the most consistent Lines in the ELF over the last 3 years and keeping Tony will be a huge factor in our Offensive Line play in the coming season.“
Koskinen, 26, was one of the bright spots of the Vikings offensive line last season starting 10 games for Vienna. The 193 cm and 130 kg lineman is thrilled to be back in purple for 2025.

Koskinen, a product of Finnish football played the 2022 season for the Raiders Tirol before returning to Finland in 2023 to finish his studies and play for the Helsinki Roosters. The league's new schedule brings even more intrique to the season for the veteran lineman.

Koskinen was part of four Finnish players on the Viking last season, this year three Fins have already signed back to Vienna as Karri Pajarinen, Elmeri Laalo, and now Tony Kosinkinen all return to the Vikings.

Vienna also brings back 33-year old homegrown offensive guard Georg Marx on the line with Koskinen as they look to build more depth for the upcoming season.
