Vienna Vikings extend contract with Johannes Schütz

The Vienna Vikings continue to work hard on their squad for the upcoming season. After the extensions of running back Karri Pajarinen, quarterback Ben Holmes and receiver Noah Touré, another offensive player has now been secured. Johannes Schütz signs a new 2-year contract with the Vikings.

So far, Schütz has shone for the Vikings, especially through his flexibility. The 23-year-old was used as both a wide receiver and a running back last season. If you add the two disciplines together, the homegrown collected 370 yards and four touchdowns. Most of them as a wide receiver.

"I’m happy to extend my contract with the Vienna Vikings. I’m looking forward to continuing my journey with this team and contributing to our future success. I appreciate the trust the organization has placed in me and am excited for what’s to come," said Schütz about his extention.

Schütz will also give head coach Calaycay and quarterback Ben Holmes some options next season.
