Vienna in final preparations for Championship Game

Preparations for the Championship Game Weekend are in full swing in Vienna. Many tasks have already been successfully completed in the last few days. "Organizationally, we are right on schedule," said Lenard Oberladstätter, Football Operations Director of the Vienna Vikings, on Tuesday. Flights, accommodations, transfer buses, and the team's daily schedules are all set. "Now we are working on the finer details, but these should be sorted out soon."

After a weekend off from practice, the team returned to Game Week mode on Tuesday. This week, the Vikings will hold four practice sessions on the field, with their final practice taking place in Germany on Saturday. "Everyone is focused right now. Of course, the final in front of over 40,000 fans at Schalke is a special setting, but we want to stick to our '1 and 0' routine," said Head Coach Chris Calaycay, looking forward to the Championship Game. "The motto has been our focus all season. It has helped us keep our concentration high and stay unbeaten throughout the year."

For Coach Calaycay, as well as for many of the Vikings' coaches and players, this will be their second championship game in just three years in the league.
