Top Performer: Viking Holmes delivers touchdown festival

Vienna Vikings quarterback Ben Holmes was unstoppable in Week 4 of the 2025 ELF season, earning "Top Performer" honors after an incredible game against archrivals Raiders Tirol. In the highly anticipated “Battle of Austria,” Holmes delivered five passing touchdowns and added another on the ground, guiding the Vikings to a dominant 41–7 victory.

Holmes’ precision and poise were on full display throughout the game, dismantling the Raiders’ defense with a variety of deep strikes, quick outs, and well-timed reads. His rushing touchdown highlighted his versatility and athleticism, further cementing his role as the engine of Vienna’s high-powered offense this season.

Vienna QB Ben Holmes in MVP form?

This performance marks a continuation of Holmes’ strong form in 2025. Through the first three weeks of the season, he had already showcased steady growth, developing chemistry with his receiving corps and improving his efficiency with each outing. His leadership has helped the Vikings maintain their undefeated record and remain a top contender for the ELF Championship this September.

Saturday’s clash was not only about the rivalry—it was a statement. With Holmes at the helm, Vienna sent a clear message to the rest of the league: the Vikings are not just contenders; they are a force to be reckoned with every single week from here on out.

As the ELF season heads into its middle stretch, all eyes will be on Ben Holmes to see if he can sustain this level of excellence. If Week 4 was any indication, defenses across Europe should brace for impact going forward.
