The Top 100 Players of 2023 will be reveiled more and more every two days in the month of November. We will be releasing the Top 100 graded players of the season 2023 according to SportsMetrics. The grades reflect the individual's performance on the field.

Impactful debut

Markell Castle’s first season in the ELF was nothing short of amazing. The Newberry College all-time great joined the Munich Ravens prior to the 2023 season and put on a show during the regular season. After a 173-yard debut with one receiving touchdown, Castle doubled down the following game, recording 242 yards and four touchdowns against the Helvetic Guards. 

Record-setting regular season

Castle ended the regular season with 97 receptions for 1580 yards and 17 touchdowns, leading the ELF in every category, while also tying the record for receiving touchdowns and setting a new record for receiving yards in a single-season. The outstanding wide receiver was not only a First-Team All-Star but also won the Offensive Player of the Year Award and was an MVP nominee.

Castle has been one of the most influential players in the ELF this year and deservedly made the number three spot on this list.
