Overtime drama with a lucky Rhein Fire team. The European League of Football gets a dream final: The 2023 Champion will face the 2022 title holder.

After a narrow 29-23 comeback-victory in overtime in the Semifinal against Stuttgart Surge, Rhein Fire is back in the ELF Championship Game and will face the Vienna Vikings on 22 September in Gelsenkirchen.

Rhein Fire had a very tough afternoon in the Semifinal, with Stuttgart still leading deep in the fourth quarter. But last year's Champions achieved overtime with a late field goal and then scored the deciding touchdown, which carried Coach Jim Tomsula's team another time to the final game of the season.
