"The third quarter was tough to watch as a Thunder fan"

Things looked good for the Thunder this weekend against the Musketeers as Paris had trouble early on. "Paris started slow," said expert Matt Bressington. Berlin controlled the Paris offense well in the first half. "Paris's offensive line was eaten up by Kyle Kitchens.," Bressington added.

"It's really like telling two different stories," as Berlin played completely differently after halftime. Like in previous games, they let the game slip away. "The third quarter was tough to watch as a Thunder fan," Bressington said. The Musketeers scored 19 unanswered points in the third quarter and held on to win, despite a late push from Thunder.

The hot phase of the season begins

Due to their loss against the Musketeers, all playoff hopes are now crushed for the Berlin Thunder. With their 4-6 record, they can no longer make it, as at least seven wins will be needed due to the records of other franchises. For the Thunder, Week 12 is against the Wroclaw Panthers, who are still fighting for the playoffs. The Eastern Conference duel between them could be very intense, as Berlin will surely want to prevent the Panthers from winning against them for the second time this season.

The Musketeers will play against the Cologne Centurions in a Western Conference duel next weekend. The Centurions will be determined to beat Paris as they are also fighting for a playoff spot.
