The Hamburg Sea Devils bring back homegrown brothers

The Hamburg Sea Devils are bringing back homegrown linebacker Kai Binnemann and defensive lineman Nils Binnemann. The defenders returns for their second season in Hamburg.


“It's an honor to play for the Sea Devils with their great fans for another year! I'm ready to give everything for this city, the team and the fans. Let's bring Hamburg to the top again!" - Kai Binnemann


Kai, the 187cm and 116kg defender played in 11 games for Hamburg making 7 total tackles. He looks forward to building on his rookie ELF season and making a bigger impact in year two. 

Binnemann is one of several Hamburg players with experience playing for the nearby Ritterhude Badgers where he played for over a decade. 


Nils brings size and strength to the defense at 188cm and 135kg. He played in two games for the Sea Devils making two tackles.

Shuan Fatah continues to add veteran homegrown talent to his team as they prepare for the 2025 season.
