Talented Milan Faby stays a Raider
The Tirol Raiders keep a young talent for their secondary. Cornerback Milan Faby, who joined the Raiders during the last season, has extended his contract with the team for another year. This means that the 20-year-old will also be wearing the Raiders jersey next season.
"I’m beyond excited to hit the field for the Raiders Tirol next season", says Faby. He adds: "Last year, I had the chance to gain valuable experience in Europe’s top league, and now I can’t wait to give it all during my first full season with the team. GO RAIDERS!"
General Manager Ulz Däuber is also very excited about the deal. Mostly, because the Raiders are able to keep an promising Homegrown talent. “Milan joined us last year and had an immediate impact on the field. He is a young Austrian player who took the opportunity to play at the highest level - it will pay out greatly for him”, explains Däuber.
Faby was developed by the Salzburg Ducks. He moved to the Raiders in 2024. Last season, he played in five games in a backup role. Faby made five tackles, including one for loss and an interception.
Therefore, the young player has already shown that he can have an impact in the Raiders defense. Faby and his team will certainly want to focus on this next season.
