Surge show strength after bye-week

Surge Head Coach Jordan Neuman stated: "It was our consistency that won the game." Stuttgart came back strong from their bye-week, defeating Milano Seamen 55-9 and clearly showed their current strength.

For a brief moment, it seemed to become a close game. This was when Milano Seamen scored a touchdown with a great throw from Zach Bronkhorst to Juan Flores-Calderon, narrowing the score to 9-13. However, the Surge quickly shifted gears and scored 42 unanswered points.

Quarterbacks show their class

With a significant lead, Head Coach Neuman decided to give the backups, including quarterback Lars Heidrich, a chance to play. Heidrich made the most of his opportunity, created 155 passing yards and 3 passing touchdowns. Both Surge quarterbacks together generated 429 yards and 7 touchdowns. What a sign to the rivals in the league!

Reserves step up and shine

Neuman expressed pride in his team: "We have a very deep roster. We don’t just have great starters, we have all the way through 65 great players, we are a very deep football team. I was very proud to see a lot of guys who haven’t had a lot of opportunities yet, get opportunities and play really well."
