Stuttgart Surge keeps their playoff hopes alive in a Western Conference showdown. For Frankfurt Galaxy, they are slipping further and further away after their fourth consecutive defeat.

Stuttgart Surge (6-2) at Frankfurt Galaxy (3-5): 54-39

It was no easy game for Jameson Wang, who has only been training with the team for a few days and is new to Europe. This was evident in the fact that the American, who previously played Division 1 college football at Cornell University in New York State, repeatedly had to scramble and run for his life.

Obviously, the coordination isn't quite there yet. But he was able to keep drives alive in spectacular fashion time and time again. His ELF debut may have ended in defeat, but he finished with 348 passing yards, three passing touchdowns, and 87 rushing yards. However, he also threw an interception under pressure and fumbled the ball. In addition, many flags cost Galaxy Yards, touchdowns, and momentum.

Nevertheless, newcomer Jameson Wang showed great potential to become a factor at Frankfurt Galaxy. The same goes for defensive back Bijon Harris, who was also signed during the week. The former star of the Cologne Centurions immediately scored a punt return touchdown.
