Frankfurt Galaxy secured an absolute highlight in Week 3 with a narrow 29-27 victory over the Paris Musketeers. Right in the middle of it all: Galaxy quarterback Matthew McKay – our Sunday Top Performer.
McKay led his team to a comfortable lead over three quarters. The US import was confident in his passing game, completing 14 of his 20 pass attempts. Overall, the 25-year-old threw for 200 yards and three touchdowns.

He also added 61 rushing yards in six attempts on the ground. His most important run was a 27-yard rush with 19 seconds left on the clock. By then, the momentum had completely shifted and the Paris Musketeers staged an incredible comeback, including taking the lead themselves.
However, McKay's final run and a 15-yard penalty for a late hit enabled Frankfurt Galaxy to score a late field goal, which Ryan Rimmler converted to secure victory.
McKay's game did have one flaw, however. The quarterback suffered an interception. Given the late victory, he will probably be able to live with it.
