Wroclaw Panthers running back Dawid Brzozowski rightfully earned the title Top Performer of the day. In the Panthers’ dominant win over the struggling Cologne Centurions, Brzozowski scored no fewer than four touchdowns, clearly showing that he is one of the best homegrown players in the league. His first two touchdowns, both scored in the opening quarter, paved the way for the team’s first back-to-back win of the season. The running back totaled 88 yards on 13 carries and was a constant threat in the red zone. With now ten touchdowns this season, he moves closer to the top of the league’s rushing stats.

Sunday’s victory was especially important with a tough stretch ahead. Next week, the Panthers face divisional rivals Prague Lions, who are currently tied with them in the standings. One week later, they go up against another division rival — the table-topping Vienna Vikings. Before their bye week in Week 12, the Panthers must also take on the strong Munich Ravens. In these matchups, running back Dawid Brzozowski will once again need to prove his quality and support his team with decisive touchdowns.
