Sunday’s Top Performer: Aron Cruickshank

Madrid Bravos wide receiver Aron Cruickshank once again proved why he’s one of the most dangerous playmakers in the ELF. Despite the Madrid Bravos falling just short in a 35–34 loss to the Raiders Tirol, Cruickshank’s all-around performance gave his team a real chance until the final whistle.

A trusted target all game long

Cruickshank’s connection with quarterback Reid Sinnett continues to be one of the league’s most reliable. The American duo combined for 146 receiving yards and three touchdowns in the Week 5 clash. Sinnett kept going back to Cruickshank in key moments, and the receiver delivered every time.

Impact on the ground game, too

Cruickshank didn’t just shine in the passing game — he also contributed as a rusher. With three carries for 31 yards, he was Madrid’s most effective runner on the day. His versatility added another layer to the Bravos’ offense and helped keep the Raiders' defense on its heels.

What’s next for Madrid

The Bravos will now use their Week 6 bye to rest and regroup after a strong 3–2 start. In Week 7, they’ll travel to face the Hamburg Sea Devils in a key midseason matchup. With Cruickshank in top form, the Bravos will look to bounce back and stay in the playoff race.
