Vienna Vikings rout the Lions in Prague

The Vikings set the tone for the game early as a steady dose of running back Karri Pajarinen led to their star ball carrier finding the endzone for the first score of the game. Later in the first quarter, Vikings quarterback Shelton Eppler found veteran receiver Reece Horn deep down the middle of the field for a 49-yard touchdown to take a 14-0 lead.

Prague responded with a long drive ending in a short field goal to give their fans something to cheer about. The Vikings followed up with a missed field goal but, were still the next team to score as Karri Pajarinen found the endzone again in the middle of the second quarter.

Later in the first half, Eppler found Michael Schachermayr for another touchdown making the score 28-3 at halftime.

Eppler continued his efficient passing attack in the third quarter as he found Reece Horn in the endzone twice and the rout was officially on, as the final score of the game ended 42-3. Vikings receiver Reece Horn was the star of their offense ending the day with an impressive stat line of 8 catches 237 yards and three touchdowns. His quarterback Shelton Eppler threw for 426 yards and four touchdowns as the Vienna offense seemed to march down the field at will.

The Panthers dominate the Enthroners in a crucial road win

Panthers fans didn't have to wait long to have something to cheer about as defensive back Devan Burrell picked off Enthroners quarterback Jack Mangel off of a deflection. Burrell showed off his excellent return skills scoring a defensive touchdown just 30 seconds into the game. Later the Panthers offense got involved as Wrocław quarterback John Uribe found Kacper Jaszewski for a score. Soon thereafter, Panthers star running back Dawid Brzozowski scored from 42 yards out. The onslaught continued as Uribe found former NFL receiver Matt Cole on a deep post to make the score 28-0 early in the second quarter.

Enthroners quarterback Jack Mangel was able to get his team on the board finding Nathaniel Robbitaile on a corner route in the endzone. However, Panthers defender AJ Wentland blocked the extra point and scored the two-point conversion, making it 30-6 at the half.

The Panthers scored next as Uribe threw a laser bullet pass to Matt Cole, who made a highlight catch to give the Panthers a 37-6 lead in the third quarter. Panthers receiver Jaszewski scored his second touchdown a few minutes later on a creative reverse play call.
