Stuttgart Surge re-signs linebacker duo Omar Dittrich and Luis Leatherman

The Stuttgart Surge continue to build their roster for the upcoming season. With the return of Omar Dittrich and Luis Leatherman, they secure two important rotational players for their linebacker corps. Both players add depth to the squad and have the potential to make an impact on the field.  

Strong performances in their first ELF season  

Dittrich played in 11 games last season and delivered solid numbers. The 25-year-old linebacker recorded 18 tackles, 0.5 tackles for loss, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery in his first ELF season. His teammate, 22-year-old Luis Leatherman, also made his presence felt. In six games, he contributed 13 tackles, 0.5 sacks, and one tackle for loss.  

With their experience and skills, both players will play an important role in the Surge’s defense in the upcoming season.
