Stuttgart Surge bring back LB Sasan Jelvani

The Stuttgart Surge have added a familiar face to their roster, bringing back linebacker Sasan Jelvani for his third ELF season. After a convincing win over the Hamburg Sea Devils in Week 3, the Surge continue to strengthen their defense as they push toward their goal of reaching the Championship Game — right in their home city.

Proven talent returns to strengthen defense

Jelvani is well known for his smart and aggressive style of play. A member of the 2023 ELF Second All-Star Team, he stood out for his tackling ability, awareness, and play recognition. His return adds even more depth and leadership to an already strong Surge defense.

In the 2024 season, Jelvani played in 12 games and recorded 47 tackles, 8.5 tackles for loss, 4 sacks, 14 defensive stops, and 3 forced fumbles. His consistent performance made him one of the most reliable defenders on the field.
