Storm re-sign defensive back Phillip Holm
Felix Pahl
Following the signings of quarterback Jadrian Clark, wide receiver Brendan Beaulieu, defensive back Luke Glenna, and linebacker David Tawake, the Nordic Storm have added another key piece to their 2026 roster: defensive back Phillip Holm.
Holm already played for the Storm last season, where he appeared in five games and showed his value in the secondary. Before joining the Storm, he competed in the 2024 ELF season with the Madrid Bravos, helping them reach the Wildcard Round.

An experienced defender returns to Copenhagen
Throughout his ELF career, the 31-year-old Holm has been a dependable and productive defender. In 10 total games, he recorded 33 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, 2 interceptions, multiple pass breakups, and a fumble return.
His experience and smart playmaking make him a valuable asset for the Storm’s defense, especially as the team aims to build on its successful debut season.
Strengthening the defensive core
With Holm returning, the Nordic Storm strengthen their defensive backfield and continue assembling a roster built for another deep playoff push. His leadership and consistency will play an important role as the Storm prepare for what they hope will be a Championship-contending 2026 season.
