Impressive Storm sweeps over Galaxy - Thunder back on track

Week 5 in the European League of Football brought redemption for Berlin and a major message from the Nordic Storm. Both teams showed strength in different ways as they look to stay in the playoff race.
Frankfurt Galaxy @ Nordic Storm – 0:35
The Nordic Storm made a huge statement in Week 5 with a dominant 35–0 shutout against the Frankfurt Galaxy. Coming off a bye week, the undefeated Storm (4–0) showed no rust as they dismantled one of the league’s most experienced teams in all phases of the game.
Clark shines again on offense
Quarterback Jadrian Clark continued his MVP-caliber season with another three-touchdown performance — bringing his total to 16 with zero interceptions. The offense looked balanced, mixing strong runs with deep passes to keep Frankfurt’s defense guessing.

Red zone stops highlight defensive masterclass
Defensively, the Storm were outstanding. They forced multiple turnovers, including two interceptions by Exavier Edwards and Luke Glenna in the red zone. In total, the Storm defense forced five sacks and held Frankfurt scoreless.
“I have to give all the credit to our defense,” Clark said after the win. “When your defense gives up zero points, you can’t lose. They stepped up in the red zone and made huge plays.”
Defensive Coordinator Brendan Noble praised his unit's discipline and preparation: “We had a great week of practice. We tackled well and played against one of the most talented offensive units in the league.”
Turnovers hurt Galaxy’s momentum
Frankfurt struggled to protect the football, with QB Matthew McKay throwing two interceptions and fumbles from both Sandro Platzgummer and Gerald Ameln stalling drives. A second-half improvement wasn’t enough to get them on the scoreboard.
What’s next
The Galaxy (3–2) will need a quick turnaround as they face the Paris Musketeers in a key Week 6 matchup. The Storm, meanwhile, return home again to face the Wrocław Panthers as they look to continue their unbeaten run.

Fehérvár Enthroners @ Berlin Thunder – 21:38
Berlin Thunder snapped their three-game losing streak with a dominant 38–21 home win over the Fehérvár Enthroners. Right from the start, the Thunder capitalized on one of the Enthroners' main weaknesses — defending the run.
Oram-Jones and Sullivan lead early surge
Berlin’s new running back Samuel Oram-Jones and quarterback Jakeb Sullivan took over on the ground. Oram-Jones scored a 2-yard touchdown, and Sullivan added a 53-yard rushing score in the first half. Berlin led 21–3 at the break, as Fehérvár’s offense struggled to get going until a late field goal.

Fehérvár fight back after halftime
The Enthroners responded better in the second half with creative playcalling and improved execution, scoring multiple touchdowns. On defense, Miles Butt recorded an interception and the unit forced a turnover on downs. But their comeback hopes were ended by a pick-six from Thunder DB Jonas Gacek off a pass from Máté Hegedüs.
What's next
Despite a fifth straight loss, Fehérvár found positives in their offensive development and now heads into a much-needed bye week. They'll return in Week 7 against Wrocław.
Berlin, now 2–3, prepares for a rematch against the Munich Ravens in Week 6 — a team they lost to 38–16 earlier this season.
