Sea Devils sign linebacker Harrison Hobson
Felix Pahl

The Hamburg Sea Devils have completed their group of import players by signing linebacker Harrison Hobson as their final international addition. Hobson is no stranger to the European League of Football, as he played for the Cologne Centurions last season. In his seven games with the Centurions, he recorded 34 tackles, one sack, and three tackles for loss.
Stronger linebacker group
With Hobson, the Sea Devils add another high-quality player to their linebacker unit. He joins Jonell Patrice Pelie, who played for the Madrid Bravos last season, and Benjamin Rokundo Mulindahabi, who gained his first ELF experience with the Enthroners in 2023. Together, they form a strong group of import linebackers for the upcoming season.
Defensive identity returns?
The Sea Devils continue to strengthen their defense, now with six import players on the defensive side of the ball. Head coach Shuan Fatah, known for his defensive mindset, seems determined to bring back the strong defensive identity that defined the Sea Devils in their first three seasons. Whether this strategy will be successful remains to be seen.
“I am looking forward to representing Hamburg and building the organization with all my teammates to be a top team contender. Hamburg will shock the league this year,” said Hobson, expressing his excitement about joining the team.
